Did my Christmas shopping here this year and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. There are so many unique gifts and goods to be found. Very creative use of space, a new Cleveland gem for sure!

Bought an item from the store in the new City Goods Hangars (Old's Cool Vintage + Thrift) during the holiday season and explicitly asked the lady at the counter if I could return the item and she said yes. She even printed me a gift receipt for the purchase in case the person didn't like it. Showed up to return the item and they told me they don't have a return policy and all sales are final. There are no signs in the store or by the register that say all sales are final, the lady working the teller didn't say it either. It only says it on the receipt AFTER you've already bought the item (at which point you can't return it). When this was brought up to the manager at the store, he interrupted and said the teller would "speak to it" (the return policy) and left it at that. He seemed very annoyed (I’m assuming he thought we were lying or trying to scam them) and completely ignored what we had just said by saying the teller would say that all sales were final- even though we just explained that the teller assured us we could return the item. So the customer is the one who has to deal with the issues no matter what and the manager was not helpful and rude. They agreed to an exchange for an item of equal or lesser value, but there were only 2 other items in the section we were allowed to go through that were of equal value so we got something of lesser value (and paid almost double for the new item since they wouldn't give us the difference between the original item and the new item). We had been very excited to shop here and wanted to support local businesses but it seems they have some issues to work out. Although both of the tellers at the counters were very kind, they both gave us wrong information (the first about the return policy and the second that we would get back the monetary difference), and the management did nothing to solve the issue leaving us to deal with the loss - and instead became annoyed that we even brought it up. I do not recommend shopping here!

I first discovered City Goods in April 2023 as a customer. The concept, selection of product, and friendly staff made me feel like I was experiencing the beginning of an iconic Cleveland experience and shared it with my friends.

Great selection of gifts for loved ones or yourself. It feels good supporting local artists and businesses. Find something for everyone. From lamps to prints to jewelry and mugs. And if you come up short, get em a squirrel picnic table.

My friends and I discovered The Hangar Bar at City Goods last night and what a gem it is! It is a cool place to have a cocktail made with local spirits. The space has a little retail area with local beers, wine and mead. All of staff were very nice and Sam the owner was so cordial and explained his concept and vision of City Goods and The Hangar. I highly recommend checking this area out and supporting local artists and Sam! You won’t be disappointed!

Over 20 shops all filled with local makers and artists. It is the perfect way to enjoy the afternoon having a little bevy at the bar and support local.

City Goods is like the brick-and-mortar version of Etsy. It’s a cool place to walk around, shop and support local businesses. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming, plus one of the hangars houses a small bar with locally sourced craft beer and wine! Fun for the whole family.
